HEYYYYYY!
My name is Megan Hillyer. I am a SCAD alumni and am best described as a 2D artist though I have done a little 3D modeling work now in Qubicle. My work spans illustrations, backgrounds, character designs, logos, ui elements, 2D assets, storyboards, comics, graphic design, photography and even wildlife/nature cinematography.
When not creating art I love to be outdoors exploring and spending time in nature. Whale watching is my number one hobby but I also enjoy snorkeling, tidepooling, kayaking and hiking.
My tools of the trade for art are a Macbook pro, 24HD Cintiq and ipad pro paired with adobe photoshop, clip studio paint pro, procreate, and adobe illustrator. Traditional art-wise I'm drawn to watercolor/gouache and sculpey clay.
My tools for photography and cinematography are a little different! To create these I need my Canon 6D mark ii, Gopro Heros 10 and 11 as well as my Macbook pro. The only programs I use for these are Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Lightroom.
